The Board Leadership Society's memberships

The vast majority of The Board Leadership Society's members are experienced board members, but also executive board members, management members with contact to the board, top officials, top politicians, professors, etc. can be admitted, and company representatives for the association's corporate members often consist of both board and executive management. Personal membership

The Board Leadership Society's many events provide a professional forum for your further development. 12-14 professional events annually ensure that you as a member have the opportunity to stay updated with learning and perspective. 2,200 DKK excluding VAT. Read more below.

Corporate membership

With a corporate membership, 15 board and management members can participate in all of the association's 12-14 annual events, providing a professional forum for further development of the individual's board competences. Price depends on size. Read more below.

Corporate membership

With a corporate membership, 15 board and management members can participate in all of the association's 12-14 annual events, providing a professional forum for further development of the individual's board competences. For companies with less than 100 employees, the number is 10 board and management members. With the opportunity to network with peers in other companies. Companies of all ownership types and sizes can become members of Bestyrelsesforeningen. Our current members are mainly C25 companies and other listed companies, fund- and family-owned companies, institutional investors, commercial funds, advisory companies, leading business organisations and publicly owned companies/organisations.

The Board Leadership Society operates on a non-profit basis. The association's member companies contribute to covering the association's costs for conference activities. However, it is also the company contribution that enables the development of initiatives such as ecoDa, GBLS, and the cyber project, all of which contribute to strengthening the competitive conditions for Danish business. Many member companies' board members and executives also choose - on an ad hoc basis - to provide input, dialogue, and knowledge development in connection with the association's professional events.

Personal membership

The basic criterion for personal membership is experience with professional board work and/or that you have completed a relevant board education program. In particular, Danish board education at CBS Board Education, Børsens Bestyrelsesuddannelserne, and DTU as well as international board education from recognised educational institutions are considered relevant. We think you have the desire to further develop yourself professionally and to be part of the large network of board professionals in the environment around The Board Leadership Society.
